Littlebird is the closest conceptual competitor to Pace: a Mac-native assistant that watches your screen, remembers your work, and acts on your behalf. The key divergence is privacy architecture — Littlebird captures screen content and stores it in the cloud (AWS); Pace keeps every byte on-device. This shapes every feature decision below.

Pace advantage: Two-track capture with speaker attribution and echo trimming is more sophisticated than passive listening. On-device means meeting audio never leaves the Mac — a significant trust advantage for confidential meetings.

Pace advantage: Pace is an agent — it operates the computer. Littlebird is a chat assistant — it answers questions and drafts content but doesn’t click buttons or type text on screen.
